I know some of you are looking to get your rides tuned/new pipes/etc. Got my ride (Salsa Verde) tuned through Derwin Dawson at Saturn of SF. Picked up the car today and holy s__t!!! What a difference in performance..25 PSI!! He went to Saturn Motor Sports and got me a good deal.

He wants to help our club get upgrades like tunes, intercoolers, intercooler pipes, air intakes, etc. etc. He's willing to work with Sky's and Sol's (and anybody else). He is looking to try and get group deals for stuff like this for club members if several of us want to go in at the same time and get things done.

If you already have Magna Flow exhaust and air intake (or equivalent), I recommend the Saturn Motor Sports Race Tune over the Performance Tune...for more detaled info give me a shout.

My first SKY was an NA. I had CAI and it seemed to help w/hp and gas milage. Didn't have it long enough to do exhaust, etc.

Hey Juan...you can find the tune I'm talking about at saturnmotorsports.com. They have a performance tune and a race tune. I chose the race tune because in the long run I think it more suits my driving style. Derwin had my car about 5 days total from drop off time to pickup time. Since you have the larger intercooler and the magnaflow pipes (can't remember if you have CAI) you might want to really consider the race tune.

Now remember, I'm not a mechanic and so for more detailed information you should really call Derwin to see if he can help. What I like most is the service I get from those guys and I got a very good price for the tune and installation. I want to say the performance tune is about $475 and the race tune was $675. But if I want to upgrade it's free for as long as I own the car. I plan to upgrade once I get my larger intercooler and intercooler pipes sometime later this year.

Talked to Derwin and he is asking for $800 not $675 as you stated previously. Maybe you got a "SPECIAL" deal. I can get my GM tune for $675 and does not void my warranty. I know the race tune you talked about gives you more power on your wheels. Maybe you can call your body Derwin and get a "SPECIAL" deal for us. Let me know. God bless.

I just went to the saturnmorotsports.com site and the race tune is priced at $695. That's what I paid. But when you figure in labor, taxes and shipping...that's another $105...$800 is about right...so I might have misspoke when I said $675...didn't mean to mislead you about that.

I'm gonna get an intercooler and intercooler pipes done in late April/early May. They will have to send in my chip to be reflashed for that upgrade (no cost to me since I've already had the base race tune done already), maybe we can get Derwin to send in both chips together and reduce your cost...I know that redragon was thinking about some upgrades to his NA...maybe we can get something going if we all want to go to saturnmotorsports for the race/performance tune, etc.

If you're out there redragon...what do you think...
